Been checking in on the new blog Don't Believe The Hype Beast the past few days...there is somegreat commentary on the streetwear scene. I even found out that coolestshop.com is not really on the streetwear tip there. Really informative posts and wait till you read the comments on some of the posts...talk about intelligence! You will laugh at yourself for a min though!

Yes it's true...maybe some of you know the state of collectable skateboard gear, but in case you didn't peep the ended auction here for this vintage Jeff Kendall beauty. Man if I was made of money I guess I would do it too...no I wouldn't...maybe a re-issue I would drop a few hundred for but $630 for a deck is out of my league...shoes maybe but just a deck...but if if there is ANY deck out there worth dropping that much coin on this is the one...I just hope that thing is going on a wall or in storage, not getting set up and ridden...but to each there own...that thing is a piece of history, one of the best condition decks I have seen....for all I know $630 is a steal considdering the Lucero deck I saw going for $1400 last month. You gotta step up to the plate skateboard collectors in the two double owe six peoples.
