For all you J Dilla fans here is an upadte. His mom opened up a foundation under his name, J DILLA FOUNDATION. You can go there and see the family of artist support that is behind this, hopefully some wonderful things spawn from this great effort. We love the concept behind it...a definate read for any fan of J Dilla's, Tribe Called Quest, Slum Village, Roots, Hip Hop, Music, any or all of the above...if you like them you should get in the know. Peace
Yeah yeah yeah...it's fucking old news...but isn't there a line about that anyways? Well if you want to watch the weekly drop co-host Rob Heppler's appearance on ESPN2 Is It The Shoes? and are too lazy to go to Rob's personal site sneakergame.com like I did then you can click here and watch it you lazy ass!
Yes it's true...maybe some of you know the state of collectable skateboard gear, but in case you didn't peep the ended auction here for this vintage Jeff Kendall beauty. Man if I was made of money I guess I would do it too...no I wouldn't...maybe a re-issue I would drop a few hundred for but $630 for a deck is out of my league...shoes maybe but just a deck...but if if there is ANY deck out there worth dropping that much coin on this is the one...I just hope that thing is going on a wall or in storage, not getting set up and ridden...but to each there own...that thing is a piece of history, one of the best condition decks I have seen....for all I know $630 is a steal considdering the Lucero deck I saw going for $1400 last month. You gotta step up to the plate skateboard collectors in the two double owe six peoples.
I have been wearing these as often as possible since I bought a pair at the New Balance store when I was in LA last month. Only time I do not like to wear them is when skateboarding, they are too cushy for me in that application but otherwise they are like walking on a cloud. Fairly cool looking but once you put them on if you have $200 or less to spare you will drop the cash on them and it will be money well spent. Found them for $150 ish here if you want a pair of the black ones shown above. Also came in a light grey version. Those are gonaa get copped soon too. Peace
Just when you thought you only bought SB's at the skate shop these smack you upside the head! THese have to be HANDS DOWN one of the f-r-e-s-h-e-s-t Vans releases EVER! Not just this week or this year...I mean I can't ollie so who cares if I am rocking the baddest Hosoi deck when I am tick tackin around my local park...but in these you pay homage to a revolutionary skater of the day at all times with these kicks...I am still excited for the soon to be released Madrid x Vans colaboration with a re-release of the original Fly Paper kicks....dang won't that be Ill....if you need these Hosoi kicks you can visit our friends at
Tactics and get youself hooked up....but be warned I am gonna clear out their stock of size 12's soon...I need like 5 of these in the vault...CLASSIC doesn't begin to describe these beauties!
Did you forget about the Christ Air? well we didn't. How about radical pole slides, those are nice eh?
And finally the ultimate hook up to go with these kicks....or this deck wouldn't be a bad choice either.
Since the last post was regarding our freedoms on the internet being attacked I thought I had better post this bad mamma jamma I peeped on the I-5 last month..."America's Fun Bus...Let's Ride" Yeah sign me up...I want to ride in the coolest short bus in America! hope you enjoy

If you are a old school butt rock fan then you might want to take a look at these killer new figures from Knucklebonz that I just found here at the Musician's Friend web site. Super cool, done in the exact likeness of some of the greatest guitarist of the era: Slash, George Lynch, Rhandy Rhodes, Dimebag Darrell and Zakk Wylde. Decent price on these being just under $100, super attention to detail.
